Clones growing roots out of stalk insted of bottom, please help PICS!!

Hey guys and gals, just went into check on the little ones today, and noticed that the stem towards the top on 2 of them is turning purple(ish) Some info on the set up to better help.

Took 2 weeks into flowering, been keeping them on 24 hour light sched to revert to flowering.

Also, the roots are sticking out the side of the one clone, is that Ok/typical?

Voodoo Juice was added to the res.

2 Gallon DWC

Put 1 teaspoon of Big Bloom in 2 gallons

PPM was never over 250

I Just raised them back above the water, had them under the water a little bit, but noticing the nutrient build up on the bottom stems.


Suggestions?
 
I'am anything but an expert.... But it would seem root growth, any roots are a good thing regardless where it starts, that is as long as it's not out the top..... I wouldn't worry much about it having weird root growth, as much as I would be worried if it didn't show any signs of roots. If you got roots it will grow.

I am more worried about the purple colored stem going on. Also, I think I am giving them nite burn , will flush res tomorrow an discontinue the big book and stay with voodoo juice.
