Clones dying please help! Pics!

Hi guys ive taken 6 cuttings from a mother 2 weeks ago today (25th Jan).

I had all 6 in a propagator under a 125w blue CFL that is about 2-3 inches away from the lid that was on for 24 hours a day.

About 8-9 days in i see the cuttings were doing well and roots coming out the side of 4 of the rockwool cubes.

I thought now they should be potted, i switched the light to 18 on 6 off, potted 4 of them, took them out of the propagator and put them about 3-4 inches away from the 125w light.

I noticed after the first couple of days they started to look really bad, ive been feeding them and misting them with rainwater the whole way.

I then checked the pots for roots and i see roots coming out of the bottom of the soil so the plants cant be dying.

I then had no idea what the problem was and because they looked healthier inside the propagator i decided to put them back in.

With the light on 18 on 6 off still the plants still look like they are not doing well at all and are on the verge of dying.

The plants in the pots have been back in the propagator for 2 days now and still they look dreadful!

PLEASE can someone shed some light on this situation and help me! I am desperate for some good advice on how to bring them back Thankyou very much.

P.S - Should i have the vents on my propagator open or closed?

what do you mean feeding them?

like crumbs right? Not like full 12 course dinners?

I dont know what you mean by that but i gave them abit of rainwater in the top and let them soak some up through the bottom, ive only done this once since theyve bin potted. I mist them maybe 4-5 times a day.

you water them everyday? and mist half a dozen times?

Looks like you have drowned them

Your vent on your prop should be slightly open at first ,Thing that people dont see it that the heat in a prop builds up REALLY fast and can get pretty high ... so no need for the light to be right next to the prop for the first week .

Your soul looks soaking wet , The roots need oxygen , I think one of them has gone past the point of no return ... But the others you could maybe save if you let them dry right out ...or repot them again in less soked soil ... At that stage they only need a bout 10 - 20 mill of water ( with some Rhizotonic maybe ) and only a very tiny amount of nutrient .

Could also be the case that the soil you have planted them in has a high nutrient count and its just way to much for tiny plants to take .... So try a soil or Coco without any nutes

1) do not over water them
let the soil dry out a bit
6) spray them a little and no Fertilizer bust a bit of b vitamin if you want. but that is it the soil will likely have sokme nutes in already

Ive only fed them once in 3 days but i did give them quite abit more than 10-20 mil of water. Thanks for the advice i think thats helped alot, i will try to dry out the soil if i can if any1 else has anymore feedback would be highly appreciated.

okay a few questions
1) what soil
2) what kind of water? tap/ Ro?
did you use b when you transplanted?

Im using GrowWise multi purpose compost. Ive always used rainwater from a drum collected in my garden. And what is b?

i never transplant into pots i use solo cups with holes in them
then to pots
i also roll the cups in my hands to break up the soil once week

if your using cloning gel that might be why my brother uses gel and only one of his survived i heard cloning powder is alot better i would try that

I heard if you grow pot on the moon it gives you a spacey buzz.

Ive used clonex gel with all the cuttings and a slight sprinkle of some rooting powder also that i had left over, is ther anything i can do now to get them back on the right track other than not feeding them? Again, thanks for the advice.

Just be patient ...learn from this ...and it will be fine

Remember ...Only a bit of water ... its far more easy to water a bit and often than it is to drown and wait
