Clones are dieing

I came home today to find all 7 of my clones turning a dark green and wilting. They look like the chopped males I have drying right now. Is there anything that can be done at this point or is it pretty much game over for them? Is it possible that this is normal and then when the roots take they spring back to life? Probably wishful thinking but...

soil...used rooting gel. Have watered and had under cfls. I turned off the lights though thinking that might be whats causing the leaves to wilt sooner.

It sounds like they are either over-watered or the soil is too dry. A lot of times you will think your clones are on the brink of death but then will spring to life.

Thanks Phillypete...hearing that is a little relieving. I'm going to assume the worst and hope for the best. A little history; I had 8 plants and 7 turned out to be male...So I had an emergency cloning session 2 days ago. I will be very disappointed if this doesn't work because I'm running out of time and its starting to seem like out of all the $ and effort I'm going to end up with one plant. On a side note to any new growers like myself don't be cheap! Buy feminized seeds! I'm so kicking myself for not doing that. I'm going to end up spending more than it would have cost me to pony up the dough then for the fem seeds.

You could always have made more seeds from the males w/ the females. Then you woulda still been in bizness.
