clones and lighting

I have heard two things. So which is better? Starting clones under full light or less light?

Less light.

I use T-12's for cloning and have for many years.

Tried my T-5 HO's once just to experiment and it was just too much for the clones.

Once they are rooted, that's a different story.

Wet

You will get different answers on this, IMO I like to start them under CFL's and move them under my MH once they are established in pots. Some people put them right under MH right away. Just keep them sprayed down at least twice a day with water. I use anti wilt on mine also.
