Clones and DIY dome

These are my first clones. I had a problem with wilting so chucked them in the dark for 8 hours till they were nice and rigid again then after some research it seemed putting them in a home made coke bottle dome may help. Should I be leaving them in light yet (only been cut for 3 days) or should i keep them in the dark. Also I trimmed some of the bigger leaves but some are still touching the plastic dome casing, is this ok. Also been misting them every couple of hours anything else I can do to help my girls. I´m hoping these work out. Also I used liquid rooting hormone diluted as the instructions said, but could only plant them in peat as that´s all I had.

I never keep mine in the dark save for 6 hour lights out, keep em humid and misted they should be ok to give em light. Did you put these clones directly in soil?

Nah they were in a diluted liquid hormone and water solution for 24 hours as per instructions on the box, then put them in soil where they started to wilt in the light, so took em out placed them in the dark with their tips in water till they were nice and rigid again and just transferred them to soil today with the home made dome for humidity and moisture.

Your DIY dome looks like it's full of holes? It should be nearly air tight for the first few days, so that there is visible condensation on the inside. If the humidity is too low the plants will wilt. Use clear plastic tape to open and close the vent holes, based on how the plant is responding to fresh air.

They do need light, and off-schedule dark periods aren't good for the plant.

Thanks for the tip I read somewhere that they need to have some airflow, I´ll use a couple of non holed ones, so for 3 days they should just be encased as it were then allow some air in after that?
