Cloneing with Heated Propagators

Hi can i get some advice about clones please as this is my 1st try at this,

I took some clones today cut them on an angle dipped them in some riot rooting solution clipped the big leafs put them into some riot root cutting cubes and put them into a large heated propagator and turned it on around half on the heated propagator heat setting,
i've got a cuttings cfl tray light with 4 small bulbs in it (not sure what power it is though think its round 200w) about 12" inch away from the propagator and the heat on top of the propagator says 27c (not sure what it is inside the propagator)
its misting up inside of the propagator but is there anything i've missed out on doing or anything i should do but not doing to keep them healthy??

It's fine. Just make sure cubes don't dry. If the propagator stops misting, spray to increase humidity.
Open a vent to allow fresh air inside now and then.

guys this is the clones after 24 hours is this right as to me they dont look very good to me :(

Sealover if you follow the Weed Science link at the bottom of this post, and download the cloning chapter, there is a cube cloning pictorial that will give you close to 100% rooting with practice. I have a similar procedure that I use with soil instead of cubes - I've had 100% success over the years never having lost a cutting. The procedures are very simple, if you drop into the Grow Lab thread (it may be changed to Weed Science by the time you read this) someone will go over the method with you until you get the results that you want. Good luck!

ok cheers they do seem to have picked up a little since i misted them and put a few drops of water in the cubes this morning, i dont think its the few drops i put in the cubes though as they dont have any roots, do you think they just needed misting more ofton??

(edit) cant see no Weed Science or grow lab Hobbes do you have a link to it please mate??

a cutting will still be soaking water in, the new roots will be searching for it, i also use a very weak nute solution around one week after cutting.

oh right so putting a few drops of water in the cube daily would help them then till they get there roots?? i thought misting the leafs or the humidity was what gave cuttings there water to start with??

For your next clones clip leave only one node, longer stems will wilt while you're getting use to cloning.

The links are in blue and underlined in red at the bottom of each of my posts in the signature area.
