merry christmas i just cloned a 2 week plant in flower. Had too. I took a small shoot and clipped the little bud. Blah blah blah olivias and so on and off to a dwc cloner.

I did right clipping the bud right?

How big is the risk of hermies?

I shiver thinking about the damage this will cause if i put this into my sustem hermied out.

I think when ever you revert a plant you run the chance of stressing the plant out and it going hermie on you. I dont know the % but there is a chance

u do run a risk of a hermie on the cutting but the plant u trimmed it from should be fine. just don't push the clone too much and it should be ok.....if it does hermie I would think it would happen sooner rater than later

lol idk its never happened to me.. i took multiple clones of a male plant i had 1 month into flower, cloned it and id say it took about 1 month for it to get itself rooted....

its growing extremely slow i only have 1 set of new growth, its the same height haha

I have never had a problem. It does take longer to revert. Friends of mine do it that way all the time to slow the veg down while waiting for their other plants to finish. I don't remember them ever having a hermie. Good luck
