Clone Taken During Flowering Question

Took a couple clones from a plant in flowering in rockwoll under 600hps using House and Garden Nutes about 2 weeks. When i cloned it, vegged it for about 2 weeks, then put into flowering, it only grew a main cola with Half the Yield as its sister....
Now my question is,
This obviously is NOT the way to take cuttings, But

will this be really potent Or a waste of Time.
Thanks

I'm not exactly sure what your saying... You took clones and grew them the same, but one only produced half as much as the other and your wondering if the smaller producer will be more potent? If I have this correct, then the answer is no.

I took cuttings from a girl in Flowering about 2 weeks. Then cloned them and vegged. I heard you should never do this, but my Mother died and I had no other option.

Hey rosey..... its ok to clone during flowering .. it just takes longer to root and develop... next time veg for a longer perid before returnig to flowering

The reason you never clone a flowering plant is because it is not in the heavy root producing stage. It will adapt but not very well. Hence half the size. It takes time (about 3 weeks) to go back to veg stage. So you asking it to make roots to survive when you just told it to flower. It's like telling a quaterback to kick a field goal. He can kick a ball but chances are your not going to be happy with the results.

Great Enology CloudFlyer, I see what you mean... I wishhhh my mother plant didn't die so I had to take cuttings two weeks in flower. So,,,
DONT do what I did... or you'll get maybe an half ounce or so If your lucky per plant... No Bueno
