Clone or Grow em Out?

I want some opinions here if you would, please?

I have a 11X9 flowering room, and a walk in closet off that room that measures 4X7. I am going to use the closet for a veg room.

I have a 12 pot Multi-Flow e&f system sitting in a 4X3 square, under 600W HPS - the hood is sealed and exhausted, the room is CO2 enriched.

Here is my question:

If you had this kind of room, and you wanted the most you could get out of that area, would you:

A. Grow out seedlings in the veg closet and flower them out in the flowering room?

or

B. Use the closet to grow mums/veg clones and fill the flower room with a SOG type setup?

Keep in mind that I don't have enough money to buy any more equip right now, so I only have the 12 pots to work with in the flower room.

If you have to keep the 12 pots for 12 square feet, there is no sense just using a square foot of your valuable space on one colas (SOG). If you had the time, you could low stress train the plants, Top or FIM (Fuck I Missed) them, get as many colas as you can in that 12 square area, and try and keep them all the same height. Then two weeks before flowering, cut the clones you need for mothers, and work from there.

I could change the "format" later on...I need to get the 12 - 1 week old clones I have in the pots (in the flower room) done, and I have about 16 seedlings that are 3 weeks old to replace them with...after things get rolling I can more or less create what will work to get me the most yeild out of the floor space.

Hey Corral ... while i agree with fitzy about somethings... sog is defenitly suited to small grow space... you said you dont have any more$ but with just 4 more pots you could do a 16 pot rotation grow of 4 plants or oz. every 2 weeks ... you could cut it to 3 pot each but you have the room ,sog is great for this type of space, given all you have stated... you dont need any thing more

If you get a chance read the Al b fuct thread on 2 week grow , its what i do in a 3x6 area, 32 pot, 8 each x4 trays

If you have only 12 pots, then you can only grow 12 plants. I dont see why you have 16 seedlings and 12 clones.

You asked what i'd do if i were you.
If i were you and couldn't afford any more equipment, i'd pick the best 12 plants i have at the minute. LST them, and 2 weeks before flowering them, i take a few clones of the best plants and grow mother plants in your closet.
Two weeks before you harvest these 12 plants, cut around 16 clones of the mothers. By the time your harvesting your original plants, pick the best 12 clones (which are 2 weeks old), and do it all over again.

I take it the seedlings aren't feminized?
and the clones are female? if so, use the clones you have. And when you discover which female seedlings you have, keep them as mother

correct. The seedlings should just about be ready to see the flower room about the time these clones are finishing up...if I read the calender correct.

I want to get another 6 pots and begin rotating in/out every 4 or 5 weeks. That'd be 18 pots...I figure I wanted some extra seedlings ready to pop into pots where the manly type plants are removed from. I'm not going to sex them in the veg room...I'll just ID em, execute them, and replace them.

Ok I think I'm gonna get 6 more pots (in a couple of months!) and grow em out as big as I can get em! We used to train our plants so the main cola and the branch tops were all about the same distance from the light...I may try that again.
