Here a link to the one im looking at.

https://cleanleaf.com/air-cleaner-CL400.php
I actually went and took a look at those last night after I posted. Not something I would use as I have my intake filtered pretty well and don't care about odors in my grow room. For some reason I'm not getting much stink off my plants and at almost 7 weeks into flowering haven't even hooked up my new carbon filter yet.

I'm jonesing for a portable A/C unit so I can run my flowering room sealed and keep the RH up better this winter and run CO2.

I was going to run an 8" fan filter combo for the room its in but really have to think of the extra noise as im in a duplex so noise and smell are a major concern. And right now the tga brianberry caugh is stinking my house up with the filter set up i have now. So before i drop 450+ i just want to hear if anyone else is running one and if they would recommend em. I must add that this will be as an add on to my filter now.

MH/HPS. Using a 1000W Hortilux for flowering right now. Smallish room at 9x7x6.5'h. Got 7 plants in pots with 3 of them 4' tall. Almost at week 7.
Nice im just using 2 4x2 tents in a petual style grow with cob leds and i keep my room a lil warmer because of that but with that i have noticed the smells are stronger in the warmer temps and so far only near the very end of harvest have they really been noticeable out of the room but this grow has been bad all the way around with smell so i have to find a way to add extra protection.

Are you using one tent for veg and the other for flowering? What do you have for an exhaust fan setup and do you exhaust to the outside of the room? Maybe explain in better detail how you have things setup now. Exhaust fan, odor control and where you vent the air from the tents.

A veg tent shouldn't need odor control so for a small tent like a 4x2 with flowering plants and cobs a 4" exhaust would be enough tho a 6" with speed control would be better and likely quieter with noise being an issue. Fans can be had that have mufflers to quiet them down but they cost another $100 over the same without a muffler. DIY mufflers can be made too. Basically put a box around the fan and fill it with something to absorb the sound. Even with a speed controller there is going to be some noise.

If you vent right into the room the tents are in then one of those air cleaner units might be what you need.

Yeah i do one one for veg and one for flower. I have a 4" fan with a y spliter in the flower tent that has a hose running to the veg tent just to help with air circulation. That gets exhausted to a 4x24" phat carbon filter that i have out side of the tents. Now the room that the tents are in is about 15x15 and i use vent hoses at the bottem of the tents to bring fresh air into the tents.

So are you pushing air into the filter rather than sucking it thru? If so you should be filtering the air that the fan is pulling from the tent to prevent dust etc from plugging up the filter from the inside. Doesn't take much to plug them up and hard to clean out.

Then the moisture and heat is just being returned to the room at large I imagine. Open window?

Where are the vent hoses for the intakes drawing their air from?

Do you have a heat/temp controller on your exhaust fan or just let it run continuously? I've got one on mine so it only comes on when the settings tell it too tho maybe a steady hum is better so your neighbours just get used to it if they can hear it at all.

Correct the exhaust gets pushed through the filter instead of pulled i dont run any controllers the fans run 24/7. The intake fans pull air from the the room and it all gets exhausted back to the room someimes there is an open window but not usually. I have a thermometer and hydrometer in the tent tent and in the room they are in. I also change the filter about every two years or so depending on manufacture suggestions i will cut a lil time from that but also hoping that the cleanleaf would help with that as well.

If you're going to run like that then the Greenleaf sounds like it would be for you.

How do you keep the humidity from just getting higher all the time? Must have some fresh air getting in and old air going out.
