My smaller "Sour D" plant is droopy on the leaves and its new leaves clam shell together for a long time before they open up, just wondering what could be the cause?

just switched to MG organic choice mixed with perlite and peat moss at a SOIL4-perlite3-peat moss3 mixture....

The plant WAS LIKE THIS BEFORE the TRANSPLANT..

il get a pic up tonight..

PH-hanna phep meter read 6.5-6.8 last night same cup of water i tested im thinking this ph meter is junk

not sure how to measure PPM i havent added nutes in a long time i flushed the soil because i was using some nasty potting mix from MG*.
air temps are 77-82 day/ 70-75 night

400cfm exhaust and a 240cfm intake is my air exchange not staying in the tent long enough i have negative pressure in the tent all the walls suck inwards

Dude, I cannot stress enough the importance of good meters! Take a look at this mutant plant:

That was because my friend was using a shit PPM pen, it said his PPM was 1300 when it was in fact 2500!!!!! When he found this out he immediately threw away both pens and bought nice Bluelab pens that come with 3 year warranties so you can drop it in your res. and no worries, you get a new one.

Another thing, very important, you have to calibrate your pens every 2 weeks at most! Even a great PH or PPM pen can and will drift over time and will give you incorrect readings which you as a grower will act on and will undoubtedly hurt your plant in the process. Take it from me, its not worth it to be cheap with certain things and PH and PPM pens are two of those things.

holy shit..

i calibrated every time i used it but its just a piece of shit..

whats the best ph meter

I would say Bluelab, their PH and PPM pens cost about $90-$100 each but are well worth it when they come with a 3 year warranty and will probably last longer than that if properly care for.

Good to know il look into these, heard anything about oakton?
or milwaukee?
Am i looking for something that is submergible and measures ppm and ph at least?

I haven't heard of Oakton but I hear Milwaukee pens are no good. I don't recommend getting a combo PH/PPM meter, get them separately because they will last longer and are probably of a higher quality.
