Hey RUI!!

well my season came to an end shorter than i wanted, noticed some bud rot so just took em down. after trimming for about an hour im all done and i wanted to show you all the final product!!!

I think I did pretty good for 3 plants first time grow and no more than 50 bucks spent.

i would like to thank everyone that gave me some advice along the way, the RIU community has been great this summer and i dont know if i could have done it without you all :)

i plan on starting a journal next year, was thinking of getting some autoflower fem seeds (mainly because of where i live i cant have a late bloomer) and doing a 5 plants in a 55 gal drum grow and see how it turns out!!! i know i know its never a good idea to plant more than 1 in a single container but cmon...a 55 gal drum is plenty of space for 5 plants (more room than 5 5 gal buckets.

pics coming in about 2 min

i had 2 strains of unknown bagseeds

also does the leaf material need to be dried before i can make hash or can i use wet stuff (kinda want it gone)

also any suggestions on drying i cant really hang them up.

probally about 6 oz once it dries, what you guys think?

also the idea of the 55 gal drum is im not going to tend to them much as i didnt with these ones. these would have been much larger but i had them in too small of pots for too long during vegg. fig the 55 gal drum will produce some nice sized plants and i only have 1 container to worry about.

looks good man,as for the leaves freeze the trimmings, fan leaves dont really help much, just the sugar leaves and mayby some little buds

i just put all the fan leaves and sugar leaves together, gonna just do one big mix, probally with cold water/ice method. theres also some small buds in there i didnt feel like messing with and were too small to really care about given what i have. should help make some tasty hash tho might even drop a nice nug or 2 in there to give it some flavor :)

IMG_2198.jpgIMG_2197.jpgalmost forgot the most important pic's.......the Main Cola!! well the biggest one at least :P

Hang what you can, if not feasible use plates and place them in a closet. Then turn the buds twice daily. Nice grow BTW, should have gone 2 weeks longer IMO prior to chop. I don't see any bud rot.

Thanks :)

i cut it out, there wasnt much maybe lost 5-6 grams but it was there. i didnt want it to spread, supposed to stay dam and cold and i cant bring them in so i didnt have too much of a choice, i would have liked the one on the left (in the white bucket) to go another 4 weeks and 2 more for the other 2 plants but i didnt want the rot to spread and end up losing out more than i would gain if that makes any sense

I'm trimming harvest right now, wish I had help...was my best year ever!. Check out the Breeder's section under advanced(rose-colored pistils). It makes sense, we have dry Falls here for the most part, never seen rot on my outdoors. I'll assume you're out West, if that's the case I probably would have chopped early as well. I hate doing that though, we spend 6 months doing an outdoor grow...no sense screwing yourself by chopping early. Yours were not in-ground, could you have not moved them or sheltered for another 10 days or so?.

i live in northern new england, couldnt really bring them inside and my only place outside is my shed and it faces the main road and has no doors on it. i guess i could have put up a tent and everything but i just didnt have the gumption. i dont really have the artificial lights to put on them indoors either or in a tent and the sun is going to be here for a couple days but its pretty cold out getting frosted every night, just wasnt worth it.

next year im either going autos or force flowering at 1/2 way through july so they have plenty of good warm weather and full rays to pop up some really nice buds

i could have but didnt seem worth it, im in northern new england so its about the time of year where it gets cold.

next year im force flowering mid july for a early harvest and going to veg indoors for a month before ground thaws (as soon as snow is gone)

Hmm, I use second floor windows(non-UV block glass)for indoors. Some of my indoors are in 5 gals, I move them as needed. I can grow year-round with this method...the rooms I use I can simply time a lamp at night to keep them in veg state by extending daylight hours. Then shut it off and watch the girls go!. Hell, I'll even use a darkened closet to force flowering in mid-Summer...problem there is someone has to move them twice daily.

haha, meh i love my wife and kids and only reason i dont want around them is because parental influence is the worst, if my kids smoke later on on thier own judgemnet then thats fine but i dont want to impose it on them.

well its been a week and 1/2 or so and weight dry i got around 4 Oz , not too bad. thought i had more. weighed it wet and was around 6.9 Oz

guess i cant complain for a grow that cost me around 50 bucks

one of the strains browned up not sure why but it still smells dank as hell and its sticky ass stuff

the other strain is staying nice and green and has a really light citris smell to it, its a good daytime smoke and save the other stuff for at night when i can vegggggg :)

i think its going to taste better and better as it cures in the jars more but im not sure how long its gonna last, 4 Oz probally 6-7 weeks
