this is not my first grow, but is my first grow journal. the purpose of this journal is to track the growth of the micro grow and attempt to get every last gram i can out of these little guys. i may need some help with this one. here we go:

setup: 32" high X 27" long X 16" deep

(2) 80 mm low profile fans(one venting, the other circulating air inside)
(8) CFL bulbs(1-150W, 3-100w, 4-75w)
(1) thermometer

soil- random mixture of gardening soil and organic materials.
seed- (12) random bag seed laying around
H20- purified tap water
fert- miracle grow 'plant growth' and 'bloom booster' (i know miracle grow is supposed to be terrible to use or so every one says, but if used and flushed properly, i bet my buds will be bigger than your unfertilized buds =P)

all plants have been started and are on 12/12 light cycle with 2700k bulbs

one plant is already over 14 inches and full of blooms but we'll just pretend they are all starting from seed as the other 11 or so are. any questions feel free to ask, your opinions are welcome, but please only positive constructive criticism. i don't want my journal filling up with doubters and haters. happy growings!

Nice man! We're doing a similar setup. I'm using a 48"x16"x16" box with plans to SOG and LST. It's in my grow journal.

Well I'm subbed. This will be a nice grow to compare to.

Id get as many more lights as you can and move them in to around an inch from the plant. cfls dont get that hot and if you have good circulation its no problem. They need more light.

i know the lights need to be closer and more light is always better, but its just a little tight packing the cups all around the light. this is about as low budget as it gets using what ever fixtures i found in the garage laying around. once they get a little bigger itl be perfect. as for the stretching, as they get to tall and stringy, i repot them deeper into the cups if needed. never had problems with this little tip and actually seems to fatten the stems more so than the untouched plants. maybe its just me tho who knows! thanks for the feedback. it is greatly appreciated. best of luck to all of you and happy growings. also posting some more pics just cause i love lookin at the lil guys. more detalied pics of the "monster" in the group

Just an observant guy I suppose. I do love those dimes... Haha. That's pretty sweet. I'm the same way. I like growing plants whether they're cactus, tomatoes, pumpkins, or cannabis.

Dude +rep for sure. I'm in the same boat. I'm doing a for fun grow just to see what's up and to get myself some homegrown smoke. I realize there are 1000 things I could do differently but I don't have the time/money/effort to manage all that.

latest update to journal. just watered today. applied molasses to the flowering plants (2) a few days ago. applied molasses to rest of plants today. fertilized both flowering plants with MG bloom booster. approximately 5 or 6 week of flowering. unfortunately i did not follow a schedule on this grow so as far as ages and weeks into stages are unsure. this is one thing i will do differently next gro. always learning! enjoy hte new pics. happy growings to all of you..i will be entering the party cup grow contest so look for me! ive got something good planned for this.

1st picture- 3 cups on left marked with a piece of black tape on rim are either big bud or strawberry cough. soon to find out. one pic of deformed plant. may pull it and replace.

*UPDATE*

germinated and planted o.c. kush seed and replaced the deformed plant with it today.

Aww well that's a bummer. I kept my deformed plant just to see what would happen. It's doing alright now but I think it'd be funny if I got some huge or potent bud off it. To each their own.

latest update. nothing new really. just normal watering and trimmed a few leaves off of the big guy.

recent update. after some more reading and research, i am re-potting the big guy in a bit larger container and changing the light cycle from 12/12 to 14/10. reason for the change is the big guy is taking an awful long time to flower and this should speed up the process(seeing as how i cant add any more light at the moment)....merry Christmas, happy quanza, happy chanuka, and cant forget happy festivus to every one and as always, happy growings!
