chemical burn?

This plant is about 2-2 1/2 weeks old with nutrients added after week one in waterfarm. Attached are some pictures, but chemical burn is suspected. Tips of old leaves yellowed and broke off when touched. Since it was first spotted, only water has been added to reservoir, is this what should be done? Last picture is what the plant leaves looks like now, any recommendations would be appreciated.

If you think you overnuted them alittle then you are doing the right thing imo. (they do look like that is a touch of overnute to me) Your ph is good. When they start looking like they are growing good again i'd start your nutes back up.....in small amounts. :)

PS...Don't stress if your ph isn't exactly at 5.8 ALL the time. If you keep it between 5.6-6.0 you're good. Don't go TOO crazy with it. ;)
