THIS IS THE LIGHT FIXTURE I MADE!
it has two 18 inch flouro grow tube lights and 3 cfls. i also lined it with aluminum tape. let me know what you think?
thanx ahead for any comments

here are my plants at almost 2 weeks under these lights!!!

what do you think?

maybe it's just me but I would want my CFL's to be a little closer...

yea the date is wrong on my camera. and i am trying to figure a way of getting the cfls closer to the plant

the total watage is around 90 i will probably get more powerfull cfls, but i got to say this thing is bright

haha! at night time when the house is all dark and shit my girl and i have to put sunglasses on to go in the room cuz the cfl's are so fuckin brite. we now keep two pairs outside the growroom door

Ive read that its good to have at least 100 Actual Watts per plant.

until you see a 400 watt HPS making your apartment glow...i wouldnt mention the brightness of a cfl.....lol. or even a 1000 watt MH for that matter.

im kidding. i keep sunglasses outside my flower closet as well.
Wish i could tell ya the wattage for CFL growing. I heard it was as low as 40 watts a plant for small vegetative plants. but that was from an unreliable friend. lol.

lol Baz, thats mad ! why not just get a 600hps ?, any ways looks like youre set for a xmass .... youve got the tree and lights allready !

ha!! well see how good it works! i have seen some good grows with flouros, even start to finish. i know you dont get as much as you would with other lamps but for what im paying total i hope its worth it all

is the light fixture thingy made out of one of those alliminium baking dishes? because if so thats pretty clever i might give it a try
