Apparently, Super Skunk can sometimes go completely purple when budding but I wasn't ready for the deep, dark, lush shades of an almost black/purple that two of mine put out.
These pictures aren't the greatest so sorry about that.
Having never grown this strain before I had no real idea what to expect and just went ahead with my original plan and ran them at 12/12 pretty much from seed. Now really wish I'd vegged them for a month at least!
I have a suspicion that if you want to grow a quick crop on a 12/12 light cycle with better than paltry yields then sativa dominant strains are going to produce a lot better than indicas. (Making sure they don't get pollinated will help with yields too and that's a certain fact).
These purple ones do have seeds in them which is a major bonus.
I could be wrong about ther indicas and the way they yield as the plants stopped producing bud as soon as they were pollinated and just concentrated on making seed.
I guess I'll have to be even more careful about spotting that rogue male flower next grow.
Oh well, you live and learn!
