Been vegging for a little over a month.
FIMMED them over a week ago.
Very bushy.
Any way to get them to grow up & not out so much?

Any thoughts on when to push to flowering?

You topping them pretty much stopped the vertical growth. Kind of counter productive IMO.

Only real thing you may be able to do is raise your lights and make them stretch for it.

You cut away top growth, making your plant bush out. Same concept in your case.

I moved the light up another 8" 3 days ago to help stretch.
Still pretty bushy... :/

Anyone else have any ideas?

they seem a little funny colored.. could be strain or a def.

what kind of light you using? an HPS or red spectrum of light will make them stretch faster

is that one month from seed?? mine are like 4 weeks and are getting close to two feet.. So im guessing cfls? they tend to grow slowly so you get less distance between nodes(bushier) but that can be a good thing after all. maybe a little lst to get them to open up and let light in and add a HID higher up so theyll get taller searching for the light

They are a rich dark green.
No issues with color, Just camera exposure I guess.

400 watt MH.

Yeah, Maybe I'll switch to the HPS on Monday.
I plan to put into flowering on the 11th, so this could help with transitions.

oh, well scratch what i just said then.. but Id try some red spectrum based light for a little bit to get them to stretch

nice clean roots by the way! I dont like when they get that gross brown shit all up in there

I just changed the rez a few days ago & The new nutes changed them to a lightly dingier white. Sorta like a light taupe color now.
Still healthy just stained a little.

Keep them bushy, dont raise the lights. They will grow beautifully.
