Cheap T5 fixture

Buy it, it's the cheapest T5 setup you will find. You do need to buy the bulbs seperate, so far no complaints on quality from econolights.

Go and order and then tell us how much you like them.

I think you'll be alright with the 3000k if you already have them, 4000 and up is the veg range.

I'd use the T5 to Veg and Buy HPS to flower though, unless you have a cheap supply of bulbs.

I only have about 4 feet of vertical space, HPS would likely burn the plants.
I asked about the 3000s because 2700s are only sold in one place, and they're 9 dollars each. If I buy 3000s, I can get them from here for almost 1/3 the price.

F54T5 HO Bi Pin Programmed Start Fluorescent Light Bulbs

My problem is that e-conolight doesn't specify the size of lamp needed for the fixture; there's 45.6 inch lamps, 46 inch, 48 inch, etc. and I don't know which one to use.

Aren't all 54 watt HO bulbs the same size ?

Probably just hang it with jack chain or drill a hole in the sheet metal and screw it to a stud.

The bulbs are 46" even, I eyeballed a little so give or take a 1/8" one way or the other.

The fixture dimensions for the light you are buying

3.3-in H x 24-in W x 48.8-in L

Hey guys, im looking for a cheap, but effective T5 or T5HO(could you explain the difference if possible) with only a single hood(duel lights) not a high bay light where they have 2 duel lighting hoods. I'm just growing and maintaing a couple mothers. I have a 600w hps for the flowering(SOG). The T5 i need is a 2 foot long light. I dont know if different t5 bulbs have different spectrums or what but im gonna need a blue spectrum'ed one. If you could give me some advice id apreciate it, thanks
