Hey my fellow growers!

I am looking for another tent for my clones and my mother plant. Here where i live in my country the tents are so expensive and im always out to save a buck or two.

I stubmbled across some tents at wish, alibaba. I know they are probably less quality tents but honestly its mylar and some aluminium/steel how bad can it be?

Anyone with some experience, maybe from you, your friends? Any advice please .

A few 2x4 studs and a sheet of reflective styrafoam insulation will be cheaper and better than any tent.

I dont really got time to diy build a tent.

Ofcourse ur right . But i quess the quality is different in the decription it says aluminium walla for better reflection . I gues the chinese got it wrong or is it really aluminium foil.

I live in Scandinavia :).

If that's the case buy the expensive local one if you don't have time to screw a few boards together you don't have time to deal with Alibaba. the shipping is usually pretty high for small orders from alibaba the shipping can cost the same or more than what you are buying sometimes.

I perused Wish's website (not Alibaba) and found a nice LAGarden tent with metal poles for a great price (shipped to me was about the same as sellers on eBay); just make sure the tent you choose has an actual brand so you can read reviews about the quality.
Aliexpress (another Chinese eBay-like website, I've purchased there many times and they have buyer protection in case you get ripped off) has many tents with brands like Marshydro, Winleaf, Mastergrow, etc.
Also, not shop eBay? There are many sellers on the U.S. site that ship worldwide for free and the prices are just as low as Wish's.
eBay has very good buyer protection; always open a case with eBay to return an item (do not return items without opening a case with eBay!). Opening a case with eBay, to do a return gets you full purchase price + shipping refunded. Doing a return without opening a case the seller can do partial refunds.
Amazon is yet another option.

The problem with purchasing items from china is that there is no consistency. You might purchase a tent and get one that is full of holes causing massive light leak where mine is leak free and perfect, until they later find out that the chemicals they used to produce the tents can leach into the air around it and are heavily toxic to the point that you'll probably die if you were near one once. If possible, spend the money and go with north American made or diy.
