Cheap easy propagation bucket

Hey all, newbie here. Made this bucket for my clones. I actually intend to get taller buckets and keep a plant in there and see how that goes. so far im digging it for an easy solution for clones. Use three smaller clamp lamps and cut them so they fit onto the top of the bucket. and then taped them down with mylar tape. then i used a computer fan and wiredit up to a doorbell transformer and then wired that to a pigtail (make sure to put electrical tape around the wire nuts). then its all plugged into a surge protector and thats plugged into a timer. 18/6 light cycle. thought id share this and if anyone has questions or suggestions please feel free. happy growing!

Thats some high tech shit right there! You're very creative, i would pay for that, bet its better than the cheap box i have. Never done clones myself but i think they should be on 24/0, correct me if im wrong.

Thanks! Buckets are so versatile.
I think the dark helps them grow just as much as the light does. I think that's an ongoing debate on if 18/6 is better than 24/0. I'm new at this and just read a book on the whole process so I'm definitely no expert. Maybe someone who has more experience could enlighten us

I thought clones were just different and needed light 24/7 u see, i run my seedlings and plants on 18/6.

I regret to inform you that you are to be soon harvested

I may attempt to extend your harvesting date,

by advising you on your recent construct

the deal really is to make this shit in the safest way, any normally educated person can

with forethought, intelligence, and creativity

by balancing all the specs to ensure that theres no real voltage leakage etc

failing that I resort to the common sense approach and urge you to

have all the electrical shit above ur waist

all the wet/water related shit below ur waist

and at the very least

HAVE A WATERPROOF COVER OVER THAT TRANSFORMER

good luck you will need it
