Cheap CLU048-1818 from Alibaba

Does anyone know anything about these?

I'm pretty new to all this and I'm interested in getting a 4 Cob setup for a single plant grow. I watched growmau5's tutorial series and he recommended kingbright. But the price seems too good to be true, eveywhere else is selling at least $20.

Must be a typo.......

So probably best to just stick with cobkits for sourcing 1818's?

The pricing is likely an error, or it's not, or they're not really 1818s. If they're actually available for $2 I would buy some and test them against top bin 1818s received from a confirmed reputable source. They certainly look to be in the correct trays, although I have no idea whether they're real. I am not an expert on citizen.

Kingbrite does have authentic citizen just think pricing is typo.

Given the nature of alibaba and the way pricing/selling works on there, they will most likely not sell these for $2 then.

even if it were true shipping is a ton and you would be buying a ton of them to make it worth while

i dont want to talk smack on kingbrite cause jerry is legit, but the chinese/alibaba teaser pricing is BS, imo.

Cobby is definitely the way to go...i mean hell my order should be to me by Tuesday.

just inquired, ... if I can get them for $2 you guys better tell me what driver and stuff to buy for them I can figure out the heatsinks!

When I was looking up stuff from kingbbrite there were things listed at $2 I think it's just so that they don't have to update prices constantly and they to it on a quote by quote basis.

Actually, a lot of people here do business with Kingbrite. They often have good prices if you don't mind waiting for it to come from China.
Myself, I'd pay the extra and support my own country lol. Guys like cobkits also give you someone to deal with when there are problems.

Northern grow lights and cobkits are good as well as Timber and Cutter

These prices are for huge quantities, even so, they are sometimes way lowballed, as in this case.
