i bbq ALOT. and i throw my old ash away in an old soil bag.

and it made be wonder if its a good natural nute like wood ash.

anybody know?

my grandpa swears it is one of the things that make his fig trees so beautiful; so i take out the big leftover chunks and dump the rest into my compost pile.... it cant hurt in small quantities, so just start experimenting... i think it is pretty acidic, so i wouldnt mix it directly into soil to plant in.
