Changing Light Schedule

Hey all I need some advice I figured I'd come to the noob forum for this since I really am. I want to switch my lights to 12/12 I have them on 18/6 right now from 4pm to 10am lights on. When I do my switch to 12/12 I need my schedule to be 8am to 8pm, what would be the best way to switch them and if I do will it put my babies in jepordy?? Thank you all!!

I don't think it really matters but I did mine I think STARTING the next morning. But yeah, it shouldn't matter. Just keep the schedule consistent and you'll be fine.

My wardrobe has light-leaks. Not major, but enough to probably scare a seasoned grower and touch wood but my plant has budded fine and no sign of seeds or male pollen sacs. Fingers crossed. I think a lot of it has to do with consistency though. My light leaks have been there from the start and I don't change anything about my light schedule.

If I was you I'd let it run to 10am and then switch so lights go off at 8pm and then back on at 8am. Just don't mess about with it's schedule after that. That's when you could jeopardise the show.
