Changing Globes For Flowering? Help plz

I understand the concept of using 'warmer' globes for flowering but due to space and money issues i've only got two lamps to play with. Currently there's one plant (15cm-20cm tall) that I want to flower soon currenty under 2* 35watt CFL'S 6700k... I have at my disposal 2* 23 watt "Warm White" 2700K CFL'S...

Question being, What I be better off keeping the cool white 6700k globes in and simply putting them into 12/12 OR changing the 34watt 'Cool' globes for 23watt globes that are 2700k?

Thanks in advance- Stay High bongsmilie

Do you have 5 dollars? http://www.homedepot.com/p/Leviton-...2-00128-00W/100356967?keyword=socket+splitter

Walmart also carries extension cords with three outlets for 1-2 bucks a piece as well as "outlet to socket adapters". The adapters are listed for 15 dollars online which is insane, because I've seen them in stores for $1.38-ish. They will turn a regular household outlet into a bulb socket. If you have to use one or the other I would use one of each. Keep them as close as possible and you will increase lumen availability. IE: At one foot, a 26 watt, 6500 K cfl (or a 23 watt, 2700 K cfl) produces 1600 lumens. At 6" the same bulb is producing 3200 lumens as per the inverse square law. Coverage is restricted of course, but depending on how large your plants are you may be able to get away with it. Namaste :peace:

Globes is what Aussies call bulbs ...? just stick the warm white (2700K) globes in for now with a promise to yourself to upgrade as soon as the cash is ready

Why would you wanna hijack a mates post on RIU.....dumass ..............more concerned with intensity than kelvin dah!!!
Its spelled dumb ass by the way. And of course he would be better off with the 35 watt bulbs no matter the color temp. 23 watt bulbs barely put out enough light to carry out any reasonable amount of photosynthesis, no matter what the advertised color temp is.Most of your advise is much the same as your avatar, mythological. Or in your case cannabis forum myth.

Obviously very few of these north americans have ever had to endure an Aussie summer or Aussie anything for that matter, heat will be off concern in the forthcoming months, low end CFL's are ideal for keeping temps low during either the budding or veg stage, and using 75% warm white with its longer wave band will be very noticeable for the first few weeks, (note the stretch) any further heat issues, then grow at night allow them to sleep during the peaks of the day.
