Change lights off to daytime?

The darkness is what’s key here
This.

It's the darkness that is responsible for triggering the hormones for flowering, and while the probability is high that they could suck up a 24 hour light cycle and be fine, it's easier to just keep it dark.

Think of it like a day of heavy overcast. The plant will be fine when the lights come back on after 24 hours of darkness.

Yes would revert to veg and stress. The darkness is what’s key here
Not true, just as long as you give their next dark period 12 hours it's the same.
There are people who run a 36 hour day. 24 on 12 off.
It's the darkness that keeps a plant in flower.
So technically you can keep em on for 24 hours, and switch it that way.

I'm so confused, LOL. I was thinking it doesn't matter as long as the dark period is not less than 12 hours?

The dehumidifier is to noisy to run at night so I'm pushing my luck, worried about PM mold. Thought it might work to run lights at night, but discovered the dehumidifier is needed during lights on also. A tinny dehumidifier would be nice right in the tent (2x 2.5), but the only little ones are Peltier thermoelectric, and they don't do much.

That’s what I’m saying the dark part is what’s important. You need at least 12 hours of dark time. Have you done this? Doesn’t seem like a great idea to me.

Just turn lights off for 24 hours and turn them on when you want the 12 hour lights on period to start and run 12-12 from there. People are writing confusing shit that no one would ever do as it seems like super stressful and a waste of energy.

24 hr of darkness as you flip them to flower is standard. it cause a increase in flower hormones and gives the plant a good boost

I personally havent, but I have read of a few people who have, and some have said their plants have finished earlier because of it.

I want to express my thoughts. I believe there are other radiation emitting from sun, which we cant see, like uv and others, When its day time, there has to be more of that radiation in our atmosphere, as compared to night time where there is not even light. Somehow i feel that we should sync our day and night cycle with the sun, its not a exact science, but i believe it should have some positive effect to do so. Now in my case, the electricity rates are almost double from 6pm to 12, 6 hours, in my first grow, during veg i i was like lights on from 12 night to 6pm evening,18 hours, and during flowering, i kept it 12pm to 12am off, like that. Though it was my first ever grow, which i believe was not so good at all, So this time, i flipped on 19june, 4 plants, and i have changed my times for lights on at 6am in the morning to 6pm in the evening. This way my plants have a day when the sun is up. And they rest when the sun is down. It is just my thought that this way they will me more synced with nature. I would like to hear your inputs.

Regarding 24hr darkness, let me tell you my experience, So i vegged for 45 days for my first grow, then i flipped, i couldn't see a single pistol till like 10 days, i saw on forum people have pistols before even flipping. So i resorted to all these methods, some guru said keep it 11-13 instead of 12-12 you plant will express her pheno in a better way, i did that, 5 days passed, no pistils, then 24hours darkness, no immediate pistols. After 20days i saw first pistols. Now for all the newbies, I couldn't see any pistols because i flipped while my plants were not sexually mature. Anyways thats a debate for another day, All this changing time and 24hr darkness actually helped in finishing quick, but at a very big cost>extremely low yeild.
This time, there is no surprise 24 darkness periods, not 11-13 or last 2 weeks 10-14 etc etc. 12-12 all the ways till harvest. No matter what
