Change from 24/7 Light to Flowering

I have had my plants on 24 light but I want to start flowering. Does it matter if the darkness hours are not regular? I was thinking of manually turning the lights off each night before I go to bed but this could be changeable, so one night it might be 8 hours, another 9 hours, another 7 etc, will this be bad for them and turn them into hemis?

you need a light timer. it needs to be exact, 12/12. timers are fairly inexpensive, even the electric ones.

any less hours in dark than 12 could re- vegetate your plants and you dont want this time interrupted by light if you did not already know.. maybe try unplug before bed.. i.e : unplug when you crash at midnight and plug back in at noon , 1 am to 1pm ...ect. or you could by a timer personally i dont trust them more than my self lol. good luck

u need a timer....100% darkness..12 hrs light and 12 hrs darkness...
