Here is the set up:
So as you can see, I set up a germ room on the bottom of the bookshelf, and I keep a small space heater less than a foot away from it. Just above that spot is the veg box, with 5X26 Watt Daylight CFLs, and two 15 Watt Gro Lux CFLs. Next to the bookshelf is a flower room, rigged up with windshield sun reflectors and pvc pipe. Right now there are only 4X26 watt daylights in there, but more to come as necessary.
Right now in the germ box there are two seeds of Island Sweet skunk which are pictured above. These are the only two which have already germ'd and have been put into the soil. The rest of the seeds are bagseed, and are still sprouting in the paper towels.
Supplies:
-Fox farm ocean forest potting soil
-Earth Worm castings
-Jamaican Bat guano
-Peruvian Seabird guano
-Liquid lime
- Epsom Salt
-Maxicrop liquid seaweed
-Happy Frog fruit and flower fert
-Grow big
-Big bloom
-Tiger Bloom
-Kelp Meal
-Banana Manna organic banana extract
-Vermiculite
-Perlite
-Miracle gro Bone meal
-Miracle gro Blood meal
-Omri Terracycle All purpose plant food.
As of now, the ISS seeds will breach the soil very soon. At this point I will begin the 18/6 light schedule in the germ room for about a week, then I will move them to the Veg room, hopefully.
I want anyone's suggestions on the best soil recipe with the materials I have, and, when is it safe to begin introducing the supplemental nutes and such?
