well i'm sure you could get something but the short answer IMHO is no. probably good to veg under, but probably not enough to flower very well.

silent x, cfl's are cheep as hell, buy as many as you can afford, or go steal a bunch from your local laundry mat. cfl's are pretty week as it is, but when you have say 20 bulbs lined up side by side, then, only then my friend, can the magic happen.

What are your limitations? Space? Money? ect... because if it is Money you can get a lot of smaller CFLs that will produce more lumen output total for a lot less money then you are going to spend on a big 105w cfl.

While I don't know much about growing, I am pretty sure for 200 you can get better then a CFL setup.

well what you need to consider is the amount of lumens per watt but yea you would probley want to get more then just one bulb you need a minimum of 20,000 lumens total for about one or two plants my hood can use one or 20 bulbs it is enough with the right bulbs remember its lumens per watt just devide the the mean lumens by the watts and you want to stay around 100 lumens per watt no lower then 75 lumens per watt. got the light from [email protected]
the one in the pictures below holds 24 bulbs and the one in my profile picture hold 20 or as many as you need it to if you e-mail [email protected] he will make you a set up for that much i am sure of it he dose HPS MH and CFL's see what he can do.

That's a pretty cool design for lights, I think once I get some better mylar and finish my thing off it will be at least as good as that. But you can put it together for more like 50 including the sockets and splitters and all, just gotta buy bulbs after that.
