Hey guys, gonna be starting my 2nd grow in the next few weeks and I've gotten to upgrade a few things since my first harvest about a month ago. The first thing I did was make a small mother/veg box that will have four 26 watt 6500k CFL's (possibly more) for 1 mother and 1-2 clones that will be moved after 2-3 weeks of veg. Also, I purchased a 250 watt MH/HPS grow light for my closet to flower with, under HPS of course.
Basic grow info:
VEG:
Lights- 4 or more 26 watt 6500k CFL's
Soil- Fox Farm Ocean Forest
Nutes - None, soil should be enough for them for the first 2-3 weeks, will give them some in 3rd week if necessary
Ventialtion- 2 120 mm computer fans as exhaust, 1 80 mm fan as intake
Light schedule- 24/0 probably until I can buy another timer for a 18/6, but it's not a top priority since I'm using CFL's. Will be there for 3 weeks at the most
Measurements- 10"x14"x20"
FLOWER:
Lights- 250 watt HPS + CFL supplemental lighting
Soil- FFOF
Nutes- Fox Farm trio (Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom)
Ventilation- 24'' box fan I guess you would call it, will be buying 1-2 more fans to blow under the plants and one for exhaust
Light schedule- 12/12 for the 7-10 weeks depending on when I feel I should harvest
Measurements- 24"x30"x5'
Still waiting on comp fans for veg chamber but should be here in the next few days, just waiting on either my firend to give me a few of his sprouts or I will just germ some bag seeds to mess around with until tax returns get here and I can get some legit seeds, probably indica dominiate. Also I will be going with the LST method since it seemed to work great for my first CFL grow and the new HPS should give me even better results.
