CFL + The Sun

I haven't seen this exact question addressed before so here we go. I live in the top floor of my apartments and I have a south facing window. I have a grow box with CFL's but I'm home during the day so I keep the box open and move it with the sun. I do this with the CFL's still running. Just curious if anyone has done this and what their results have been. Is it better or does it make a difference.

Oh and I keep it in the box because when it's going to start stinking I have carbon filters running in there. Here's pic so you can see my setup and plant The pic is from the begining of day 14.

As you can see the sun goes right into the box. So did I just luck out with a great place to grow in or will this not make much of a difference? I'll feel silly moving a box around all day for nothing.

If your window doesn't have some sort of coating against sunlight(anti-polarizing, or the like) then I'd say it's probably doing some good. Is it worth the effort, I don't know.

Well it's not like the box is heavy. :-P It's just if it does no good then there's no point to moving it around for a few hours a day. As far as I know there's no coat on the windows. At least if there is I cant' feel it or see it.
