For those who use them, how many plants will one t-5 grow until there about 6 inches talls? Also how far away from plant should they be?

4 inch and if possible to come with 2 bulbs dual next to each other.

i use a 4-bulb T-5 set up that is 4-foot long 55watts each bulb. I staggered 6 2-foot plants under it during veg in 1.5 gallon pots

Yes i did mean feet. You think this is equiavlent growth of the plants as if you were vegging with a MH?

i have heard that the two can be close in comparison. I have 400 halide and did not notice a difference in growth as far as speed....i had to high of heat and used the T-5's now...love them & bulbs are cheaper to replace more often.
