Ive seen some pictures of boxes where people have there CFL's on some type of thing that goes into 1 socket, and splits into two lights.

Can anyone tell me what these are called or where I can find them.

I want to design myself a box with the money I save on my outdoor harvest.

Thanks in advanced. :bigjoint:

i would try home depot or lowes i dont know exactly what they are called but your name is good as any

Oh ok, so I can put a splitter in almost each socket and let them run.

Sorry for my lack of reading before starting this thread, but what WATT CFL lights do I need for veg/flower.

Two 30 gallon tubs - check
Power surge - Check
Daily timer - check
Nutrients - check
Soil - Check
Pots - Check
Clones - check

Besides for the CFL's, what else will I need.

An exit/intake computer fan wired up to a 9v AC/DC phone charger?

each outlet can support something like 14amps and which works out to be like 1600 watts
the splitters themselves can handle about 600w ea

very useful information.

I think im going to build the box tonight.

anyone want to add to my supplies list.

How do I make it so my drainage water doesnt make a mess everywhere. anyone got any good ideas.

Just buy a drainage tray. They sell them with the planters at walmart, homedepot, lowes, nursery, etc...

Thanks guys. And I could run 6-8 CFLS on one power surge and be alright?

You can run as many as you want as long as you dont exceed the maximum wattage. Your weakest point that you may exceed first is the actual socket that you will be putting the splitter into.
