CFL set up. Will this work??

anyone know where i can just find a 4 way adapter?? or a 6 would be even better. cant seem to find one!

someone please tell me how to do this as cheap as possible with good results!!!!!!

like the previous poster said use a power strip with 4 to 6 outlets. then you can use the socket to outlet adapters. for more lights you can then add the y splitters you can get about 6-8 cfls on one strip. or go buy some clamp reflectors and find a way to clamp them around your plants.

i grow using 2 of the individual sockets 26w cfls on the top of my plant and have 5 26 watts in 5 lamps going around.

you think thats safe???

im using 6 on one powerstrip everything is fine. im my girl dad is an electrician and hasnt said nething about the way i have stuff set. havent had ne power surges or anything.

Your average power strip can handle 13 amps or so...on a 120 volt circuit that's roughly 1500 watts you'd have to pull before having to worry too much. You'd have to add a lot more cfl's than splitters will ever get you before you will reach any point where danger is a concern.
If you use 4 per cord/plug, then you are still only pulling around the same amount of power as you would with a single 100w incandescent. That alone should tell you that your average lamp capable of supporting a 100w incandescent bulb can theoretically handle 4x23 watt cfls...as that is actually less wattage. Unless you have some incredibly cheap splitters that are prone to overheating under a pathetic load, then you will be fine.
