i have an AG3 (3 plants).
1) how CFLs should i get?
2) how many watts?
3) what difference do the watts makes?
4) how many lumens?
5) is a big bulb better than a small bulb?
6) what kind do i want for flowering and for vegging?

thank you very much in advance

eh bro for 3 plants veg under 3 26 watt 6500k daylight and flower under 12 23 watt 2700k soft white

thanx alot, but if u cant get 12 bulbs hooked up for flowering, is 6 46 watts the same as 12 23 watts? wat should i do for that, since i cant hook up 12 bulbs? and what are HPS good for?

Yes, but for flowering you must make sure they 2700k for flowering. Hps is the best shit for flowering, but need a ballast....

Yeah. Essentially 6 46 watts do = 12 23 watts. The advantage of the 12 23 watt set up is you can place the lights in numerous areas to get light to hard to reach spots for your plants (particularly during flowering).

is there such thing as too high of a wattage for a bulb that i shouldnt use? also what does thw wattage do (what difference does it make)?

The more wattage the better lumens. Just make sure for veg you get 6500K daylight and for flowering 2700K soft white.

23w bulbs are 1700 lumens and the 46w bulbs are 2700 lumens.

You don't get 2:1 in wattage, but you also can't just stack lumens up linearly, 2x1700 lumen bulbs is not 3400 lumens for the entire grow space.

I personally feel that it would be better to go with the 150w equivs and just get less of the higher wattage bulbs, more intense light = more penetration to lower branches.
