Hi guys, can anyone tell me if soft white is 6500k? And is there a difference between the stick type and the twisty ones? Thanks

the fiting doesnt matter and yes i think it is soft white cuz warm white is 2700k whats the Watt?

cool cool I've got 2 25W cfl at the minute but Ive got a 125W dual cfl red/blue the red is 2700k and I'm sure the blue is 6500k but thats in the post coming on monday the cfl you got is fine and will do the job but if you can get another one it help so much I know from experience as I used 1 25W cfl and it did ok but not great so i added another on my next which basically double it but then the more light the better the yeild what are you growing? good luck fella

I only asked cause I just bought two of them, iv actually got two seedlings at the mo, bag seed, I know its crossed between dominican and afgan I think, iv already got two 20w phillips daylight cfls and one 2700k 20w each, I'm gonna add the new one's tomorrow. Also I'm getting a white rhino clone soon, supplied by my new friend and fellow member welshsmoker. Thanks for replying!

Sorry mate, how rude! Wot are u growing at the mo and how's it going? This is my first grow, have u grown some good stuff before with cfls?

no it's 2700 K, 6500 K is designated Daylight (NOT cool white BTW)
the sticks are better as the tubes aren't so close together so more light can radiate out (that's just my opinion)

Spuin!! I tell u, its real hard work round here trying to get 6500k cfls, don't know why? 20w daylights are the highest watt I can find, I would like some 40w ones but nowhere seems to supply them? Thanks for the input frmrboi.
