CFL QuestioN! Need Expert CFLeR!!

How Many 23w CFL Bulb do i need to veg 1 plant?

ARE 23W Enough For Vegging?

2x2x8 closet
Gonna be in soil

i wanna test something

yea man 4 would do good but as it gets bigger u should add more light good luck man

With good placement you can start with one and add as needed. No more than 5 depending on how long you want to veg.

wanna veg for 4week then switch to 600HPS

Around 4 or 5 would be good for 4 weeks vegging
Make sure to keep them within a couple inches of the plant, and spread them out

Make sure you have CFL's all around it so you get the best bud production! And get 2700k the biggest you can afford! Just be careful not to burn your plants by placing the light to close! And def check out the CFL forum lots of good advice in there!!

You should really get the 26watt one instead though. It as more lumens!

How about 2 1000 watt HPS at 3 inches away? And a jet engine running wide open for warmth too?

isnt 23w the same as 26w? (Never saw 26w in canada)

They are rated the same but 26watt has more lumens then the 23watt but the 23watt is suppose to have longer life but that is irrelevent to what you are doing

Ok well for that im fucked lol... no 26w here.

the 23 watter is good for seedlings and small plants but ur gonna def need more lumens 6500k daylight to be more specific. good luck!

I wouldn't worry to much about it as long as you have enough cfls around the plants they should do just fine! And you are getting a hps light soon so I think you'll be ok
