I am an outdoor grower but i have decided to go indoors and try out a cfl grow. Which cfls would you recommend, and what do you use for reflective materials? would it be better to have the bigger cfls with the reflector or just the small cfls that put out around the same lumens but arent as big a wattage as the bigger cfl's?

i like the small cfl 20w-42w rang thay work out very good for the mony and you get beter coverige than the big cfl,s and i think FT are shit. and make sum beer can reflecters

Check out Envirolites.
They look to be pretty good.
I'd put a link but for some reason it's not letting me.

As for reflective stuff use mylar or just paint the walls white. :)

If you plan to use a small closet or something for your grow space, get yourself some mylar and line the hole thing that way your hole grow room will be one giant reflector :)

8 to 10 23w cfls circling your pot. One or two more in center is up to you.

Im not ever gonna waste a grow by flowering under cfl. 400w HPS to flower is how i roll.

dude,, just pain the walls flat white,, flat white paint is the most reflective,, then you dont have to mess with mylar and dont even consider aluminum foil,, then just load up on cheapy cfl's,, the small bulbs, cram as man as you can in there,, get up to around 400 watts ( actual) per plant, have fun,,,

you do know though,, you will spend way over 100 bucks on cfl's and sockets and extension cords, just get a 100 dollar HPS set up from amazon,,a nd you will blow away any cfl grow

4 cheap extension cords $2.95 each
One socket adapter $10.95
8 bulb sockets $1.95 each
8 cfl bulbs $6 for a 3pack (depends)

$10 a month running 24hrs?

Priceless!
