cfl or hps?

so i just got two 200 watt cfls now i thing to my self should i have just got a 400hps? would that of been better will it be the same on the electric bill

either way, go to the cfl forum and check out the cfl grows, you can grow some nice plants if you know what you're doing, HPS is quite popular for flowering though. hope that helps.

200 watt cfls i was going to do a stealth grow and saw how cheap the 200 watts were blue and red two of each under £100 so i just got them hope i can get some good buds?

If you were to move to hps you would see an increased improvement in growth, but you need the space for it too.

You are going to start a fight with that question.. Some people love their CFLs and some love their HIDs.. You can't really compare the 2 by wattage because that is just how much power they are using not the amount of lumens they are putting out..

yes you are right well i am going to give it a go with the 200 watt cfls see how it goes i will post some pics when they get hear

LOL!! That is funny, Very Very TRUE!!! There could be a fight!! As long as we all smoke a bowl and laugh about it afterwards.............So who wants some???? HID's are where its AT! Don't waste your time with CFL's! LOL

there has been some nice grows over in the cfl section
i will try my cfls out if they aare no good i will be getting a hid can you use hids to veg and flower?
