CFL mini box journal

hey i just finished my new box and it is mainly for stealth
it is a one cubic foot cookie tin that is all shiney inside. i have a big vent hole in the top and fabric to block light.
i have one 14w (60w equivelent) 900 lumens cfl probably add another. and that is on a timer.
i have 4 seeds germinating now and 3 inch pots with good drainage. i am looking for 8 in. plants. this is only till i can grow outside. i am using miracle grow.
my expectations are low but wut the hell this is just to past the time.

def try to get some pics up when you can. I'm working on setting up my own box, I'd love to see as many other boxes as I can before I do mine.

shit i acidentily made clear plastic pots. just learned that the roots dont like light. i am going to cover them with something.

dude that one light isnt nearly enough for 3 plants lol. more like 8

i know i am adding another once the seedlings sprout. remember that it is a micro box...

yeah i have a micro grow too,,, 3 40w cfl, those will stretch way too much with only 2 14w lights.

idk its my first grow. i am germinating 3 new seeds in soil. i will add second light when they sprout and i will go to 12/12 when they get halfway up the box.

u never know what u can grow with that light...may not be much but i got this nice chunk with 3-cfls(2-42w and 1-26w) and a 20w floro tube....and it was more like 18" not 8".if its just 4 fun anywas im curious to your yeild from something that small....stealth is the key...i like it.

nice. thanks for the nice comments. it gives me hope. i decided when i add the second light that i am going to put on a hemisphere and get another 5 or 6 inches. will post pics of the adition tomorow. and like i said this is 4 micro stealth, fun, practice, and to pass the time till spring

i think you will get a result if you increase the hight. i do agree with whats already been said about them stretching and getting too tall. if you had another tin of the same size and put that underneath and used the one you have as the lid, then you will have a 2 ft tall box and you will be able to use bigger lights or a couple more. you will thank yourself if you make it so you can have more or bigger lights

Man,go down to home depot and get a 42watt cfl "cool white" kind (normally in a blue package)

U can def. let them break the surface of the soil with 18 watter,but as soon as they do put the 42watter in there.Its the least u can do for 3 plants.If they make it u can get multi socket adapters and add more ligth later

ps a 42watt CFL is like $13

i put a second tin in and doubled the hight. also i added the second cfl. one seed cracked open thats it.

How are they getting fresh air? I don't think it will work that well, but im very interested to see. You will only get cherio size buds with that, maybe enough for a a full bowl, prove me wrong..., in 2 weeks, i want to see how much more room you needed to add and how things are still going. Thats if you haven't killed them by then Best wishes, I will be watching.

Hello guys, I posted something similar but nobody replied so I will ask here, if I want to grow in a PC case, using lowryder crosses such as "low lifes automatic ak47"...... how many plants can i maximum plant in a computer case and what type of CFL light will I need and how many? BTW I have the polyfilm B/W reflective material.

one seedling is a half inch tall. no other seeds have sprouted. they might be bad. i could just grow one but there is 50% chance of it being male. also i open up cntainer once in a while and blow in fresh air. and leave it open when no one is home.
