I need some advice guys, I'm making a cfl light stand and the prices are so different on diff wattages. Would these work?

No no no no....and no....ud need abt 60 of em for a tiny plant...theyd be too weak...23watters minumum...the 13watters are even a waste of time imo

U can get a pack of 4 23watters at wal mart for like 3-4bucks...get packs thats 16bulbs...enuf for one plant maybe two small plants

mr vega in your experience how much watt cfl would i need above a plant in order to sustain it in veg growth. e.g if it was under 600w hps for 12hrs then i put it under say 1 23watt cfl, i no the growth for the next 6 hours would slow...but would it keep the plant in a stage of veg with no ill effects???

you want a variety, 2700k 5000k 6500k 7500k for better results

Just get a 4 foot, 4 bulb t5' or 2 foot 2 bulb, 4 bulb etc..

I have a T5HO hanging over my plants now, single bulb, veg.
I was going to daisy chain two additional bulbs but the cost is a bit more plus I've been reading a lot about getting more light to the sides of the plants rather than just the top, so you can see my dilemma

You need higher wattage, and mixed color spectrum.

another question...what is the deal with dimmable lights? I've seen a lot of posts about them but what would be the purpose? does it lower the lumens for flowering? just wondering

She has a little purple in her. It is amazing the color's they produce sometimes

when the plants grow, they don't pull the wire loose? I guess you must cut them pretty long eh?
