What exactly does CFL stand for and what is the pros and cons of using this light?

CFL stands for Compact Flourescent Lights. They work well for vegging, but not so much for flowering.

I'v seen some grows with some nice buds on this site that say CFL's can be pretty good all around.

Some people have had some very good crops from CFLs all the way.. TOKE is one of them.
