cfl lighting for 5 ww plants

hi ave got 5 ww plants under a 250 watt cfl but the growth seems 2 be very little just wonderin if any1 could help me as am new 2 cfl growing the closet is only 2foot by 2foot but i can adjust it as the plants grow am thinking of gettin 1 more 250 cfl in there with them any help would be much great thank

you need more then just 1 250w CFL. I've read that some people started their seedlings with just a couple but when they added more CFLs to a plant it grew faster.

I would get a couple more

Unless your seeds were feminised you are likely to get some boys in there so maybe you only need enough light for 2 or 3 plants really.
In a 2 x 2 space you should have enough light with the 250. I use a 125 in half that space and have no problems.
Use a reflector on the bulb and white paint or mylar on the side walls to maximise the light and you should be ok.
WW is bred to be small.
