CFL Light question.

I have a ton of 24 watt cfl lights. They are all I have and I cannot get a different light. They put out 1600 lumens each. Can these be used?

yep look around the site for flourescent grow journals there are plenty that make good use of cfl
 
yes they can! just use lights that are blue shifted (6500k range) for vegging, and use red shifted (2700k) for flowering. I have 6 24watt 6500k cfl each putting out 1600 lumen right now for vegging.
 
you can use them put they dont do very well.Yields will be small buds airy and growing times will be very long.
 
those are very blue lights good for vegging while they veg slowly pic up some of the 3000k 26 watt cfl's if your in the states 3 pack 7.88 these are better for budding. best of luck. Harvesting and smoking some of my first buds grown under cfl's you need alot of them but they work well. obviously for those a bit more gifted financially HID is the only way to go...but for decent results on a budget cfl's work they blow 4" flouro tubes out of the water.
