CFL/Fluorescent 1st time grower

Hi there all! This is my first set up and I'm using CFLs and fluorescent tubes. All my seeds are from random bags I've acquired. These pics are dated 12/13, the first 3 are of my first seed to sprout taken about 35days after sprouting. I had it under an Ott-Lite Flip up grow lamp after it sprouted 24/7 light for about 4 wks

. It wasn't till a week before these pics I got the cfls and fluors. At this time a friend gave me a clone free

!! That is the second plant, the name is Hum something but I will just call her "Hum". The lights were 4 fluroscent tubes that rated 6500k and around 3k lumens each at their tops and 2 26w 6500k bulbs in reflectors hanging at both sides of the plants. My soil was from my garden made last year which grew awesome peppers, tomatoes, pumpkins, raspberries and a few other things. I cleaned all the soil by hand the best I could and planted the seed and just transplanted the ready clone when I brought it home. My only feed at this time was free fish emulsion I believe is what it is and they love it. I actually need to go buy some and will inform you of what it is really called when I do. This starts my journal and I will be putting up posts till you all are caught up on what I have been working with.

Thnx Cowa :weed: the smaller one I named TRG 1 for reference purposes was under the small light for too long and dwarfed a bit but you'll see that is ok soon. They are about 6wks at start of photos. These are 10 days now

Here you can see how closely branched TRG1 is and Hum is slowly filling in since the transplant. Also this shows my earlier light set up.

Last set 13 days btw. these 17 days. They are filling out nicely and I went out and bought some panda film to make reflective rooms. I now have a room meant to flower in but both are veggin atm. I also planted some more bag seeds I came across and have a new sprout! 2 others sprouted but died before they even looked like this one. Its about a 5 day old sprout at this time. This one will become TRG2.

Day 21 now... In that time I went out and bought 12 2700k 26w CFLs and 10 reflectors needing only 10 I think. I moved Hum into the flowering room as I'm being told by the owner of the mother that it is ready to go. I setup the cfls and reflectors 4 at the top and 3 on each side. I will show the setup later. Also my seedling seems to be taking off nicely.

Day 27: My seedling had something eat that missing fan leave pretty badly so I plucked it and thats why you don't see it now. My smaller plant is growing nicely here. Unfortunately Hum had gotten attacked by spider mites 3 days after I put into 12/12. The only person I knew to ask was the guy who gave it to me about how to fix it. He made me put it back into 24/7 vegging but i didn't want to have it leave that sealed room so its still under the 2700k cfls at 24/7 light. Not sure if that was a bad idea or not but I am treating with neem oil and this liquid ladybug.

Day 39: During that it was only the regular waterings and treatments for mites. I believe I killed them off mostly and I have adjusted humidity and temp to slow their reproduction. I decided this day to switch to 12/12 on my 1st plant so I bought 4 3000k (I couldn't find 2700k) Fluorescent tubes and more 26w 2700k cfls. I set them up over it and will hopefully be sexing it in a few days. Also since I believe the spider mites are gone I put Hum back into 12/12 as well. I left Hum in the room it was infested in while the other is in the veg room now a separate flowering room. I modified a bookshelf to house my smaller plant and clone cuttlings off my 1st plant. Just want to see if I could clone it and wanted to thin it out for more light pen. The new small plant in veg I topped on the 36th day

Day 41: Now these are from Day 40 after I read on ways to increase light pen. and different grow techniques to try and increase yield. I have set up a ScroG type setup for TRG1 there and decided to LST TRG2 in experimentation. This entire time I only used CFLs and fluorescents as I have yet to afford an HPS/MH setup. Also I'd like to mention both TRG 1 and Hum are forming calyxes already and hopefully will show their sexes soon!

Day 42: So when the lights came on Hum had these leaves randomly through out the plant. Not sure what caused it but the guy who gave it to me said flush it so I did that already. Was this caused by nutes or something else? They tips are a purple/black color and are very dry and brittle. Kinda hoping the flush helps it.

Hey Thnx bro. Today is Day 45 so 6th day flowering so I'm hoping tomorrow to have pistils. According to what I read 7-10 days is about how long it should take. I have pics I took today but will get them up later as well.:weed:
 
So these are pics of my rooms. They are 4'x8' and about 6-7' high. Both are now completely sealed and ventilation going out. Humidity stays between 40-60% and temps between 65-80 F (cold winter here can drop my rooms temps at times). They were separate veg/flower rooms but both are separate flower rooms till I know the mites are actually all gone.

 
I suppose any of you interested I water every 3-4 days watering using about teaspoon of that fish emulsion I have(not sure of brand name or nute lvls) per gallon of water. After 3 water feedings I use pure water for 2 waterings then 3 w/ fish . Thats my watering and fert methods I guess. My water is well water I used in my garden as well and the soil is from the garden. I yielded alot of of beastly tomatoes and peppers along with other things so I hope they work on these like they did my garden :)
 
It was a decent yield of about 3 oz on the taller one the other 2 hermied. Haven't been on much but time to try again. I will show some of my new stuff when I have time. :)
