Cfl distance for sprouts

just sprouted, how far away show 3 26w daylight cfls be? I know its always supposed to be 1-2 inches away but is it different for sprouts?

as close as one inch as long as you got a cool fan blowing directly on them.

I always hang my CFL fixture 6 inches above sprouts. I have a fan blowing on the bulbs. After 10 days I lower the lights to within 2 inches.
