CFL bulb i'm thinkin about buying....however would it fit?

i'm thinking about buying one of these bulbs for just ONE plant.....its a 6500k daylight 105 watt CFL......the problem is, idk if it will fit in a standard bulb socket or would i need a special lamp/ballast ?

Looks like you would need a ballast!

You will be fine! No need for a ballast or anything. Just grab a regular MOGUL bulb holder, and it will fit great!
You can carry the bulb to the hardware to see if a fitting works.
The base type E26 is a classic Edison screw. Cheers.

Halfway thru, I add an even larger CFL to the mix. It is heavy. The holder supports one end, and the other side is held up by a large plastic hook, which came with adhesive backing, from the hardware.

That bulb has its own ballast and will definately fit a standard socket and would be a great choice but they also have 68 watt lamps in 2700k at Home Depot for 15 bucks.

No you will be good with a standard screw type fitting. Much like what you use at home already.

yea thanks man, ill check those out for flowering....
