Cfl break?

So a few days ago I was watering the ladies and I happened to knock over a very small CFL laying on a table on the side (13W CFL, needed it for an emergency replacement) It fell on the ground, but only a small corner fell off, no powder was spilled. I immediately got it out of there, cleaned up the few bits of glass, and put the fan on high for a little while (there is always an open window where the fan blows too). I haven't noticed any problems with the ladies, should I be concerned at all? I don't wanna burn no toxic-mercury-buds

I dont really see a need for too much concern, if it makes you feel any better, I dropped a splitter with two 26w CFL's on the floor and they both shattered into millions of peices. I swept it up wiped the area down with a damp cloth to be sure all glass dust was gone and went about my business.

@electronic orgasm -Was the finished product alright?

@Lil Czr - Yeah, do you think a harmful amount escaped?

A small CFl bulb contains less than 5 milligrams of mercury. When I was a kid we used to break open those big thermometers and play with ounces of mercury with our bare hands. that might explain why i am a little looney, but I think you will be ok considering you were most likely not exposed to jack shit and have no worries whatsoever.

Yeah i'm not worried about myself, the amount in the little bulb is nothing to worry about for humans, but I was more concerned about the girls

No. not with just one. You don't want to cut yourself on the glass and get it into your blood stream though.

You eating tuna is hurting you more than 1 bulb. A 42 watt cfl has 4 mG of mecury, It would take 1 gm to hurt a human. 2 gm to be fatal. that means yyoud have to bust alot of those bulbs for it to matter, trres are alot hardier then humans...dont worry about it.
