CFL Autoflowering Question

Hello fellow weeders :) My first grow that I posted about a few weeks ago is going well so far. The plant is still quite small but it is also quite young too. Anyway, it's a poison dwarf autoflowering type and I have a questions re lights. Atm i have 2x30W and 1x60W Blue 6400k and I'm wondering whether I should think about getting 2400k lamps for flowering as I'm thinking of giving it a week or two more of vegetation. However, as far as I know autoflowering plants just start to flower irrespective of light cycles and all that. Therefore, I am wondering whether it's worth it investing in flowering spectrum lights when its going to flower either way. Do you guys think that given that the plant is auto, putting it under 2400k's for flowering would make much of a difference? please excuse me if the question has already been asked or is too stupid :) Atm i've got them under the blue spectrum bulbs 24/7.

Yeah the whole point of autoflowering plants is they use ruderalis genes too, thus begin to flower on their own without the need to switch to a 12/12 photo period.

I personally would invest in a warm colour spectrum CFL if I were you, and I'd get as much wattage as possible. A 125w warm CFL is equivilent to about 325w incandescent, and should put out around 19,000 lumens. While your plant will flower without it, adding another light, especially a warm, can only be a good thing.

I'm a big CFL fan, and one rule of thumb I keep is the more the better, especially when covering different aspects of the spectrum.

I dont have to much experiance with Autos .. but what I have read and been told ..

most Ppl. just keep em on 18/6 from start to finish .. dunno .. I belive evrything can work with autos .. 24/7 or 20/4 or 18/6 aso.

and yea flowering plants need most Red/yellow spectrum .. a kelvin color from 2-3000 is optimal .. tho all plants need all kind of light (cept green) to grow .. just more Blue in Veg and more Red/yellow in flowering ..

I would strongly advice you to get 1 or 2 2700K CLFs and add ..

seems like you got most Veg bulbs .. or only ..

it would actualy be better if it was the other way around .. specialy with autos ..

they mostly only stay in Veg for 2 weeks I belive .. so 3/4 of its life its in flowering ..

if it was me who grew autos I would keep 80% of my Bulbs in 2700K and only 20% in 6500K from star to finish ..
