cfl and mylar tent

hi there i wanna put this out there again as i have asked this qustion be4 i have a mylar tent brought from hydro shop 1meter-w 1.2meters high i wanna ask now what would be a good amount of cfls lights say to grow 4 plants from seed about say a foot tall as im planning on flowering with a hps 1000 watt lots of post say lots of cfls per plant like 3-6 and others say ull get away with as little as 2 23 watt cfl lights per plant now i dont wanna flower with cfls just veg and i dont wanna be in there every day fucking around with moving lights here and there say could i get away with say 6 23 watt light inside a old shade that i could move it up and down as plants grow i would go but a t5 straight out but i have alot of cfls lights from a job i did with conections and cords so i wanna play with it

A 1,000 watt HPS will be overkill for such a small space, and your ventilation task will be pretty enormous. Check out one of my journals. I haven't posted any of my current grows due to lack of activity in previous ones; but you'll see how you can get good results with CFLs without having to move any lights up and down more than a few times per grow.

I use a DIY CFL grow light with a unique bulb positioning that accomplishes the task of growing VERY high quality, dense weed with just 330 watts per light (2-plants per light).

So maybe you should use your CFLs and see what you can do before going to HPS?
