Major problem. Last night I watered a lot with more than normal rooting hormone (it has fertilizer in it) and well I checked today at 1:15PM and she is really limp, no discoloration, just some shrinkage, and the leaves are very soft and brittle. The only think keeping the leaves from touching the dirt is the Scrog net. Please help, what could I do to save her?

Keep that fan on her, and those lights down low. Let that soil dry out pretty good before u water again! What are u watering with?

I'm watering with ph-checked tap water (ph is around 6.8 - 7.0) mixed with about 2 cups of Rooting Hormone with starter fertilizer, (not sure how much).

I have some updates.

Update: 2/1/12
  • Up-rooted the plant carefuly,(no roots where damaged)
  • Watered the soil off the roots, placed dry soil up the very top of the planter, and re-planted roots in extremely dry medium

And a question, watering the soil off the roots (the roots got wet) isn't going to over-water it again will it?

I dont think the plant can be overwatered unless its in soil and there is more water than needed puddled up around roots. Its impossible to overwater a plant by running water over just the roots! Look at it like the plant is drowning its in own soil, and running water over the roots is like taking a shower?
